Meet Coco: From Bartender to Business Consultant, Here’s How it Happened

I’m so happy you’re here! Let me tell you a little about my story…
Who I am
…but my friends call me Coco 🙂
I’m a 31-year-old lifelong artist and ex-bartender, who finally took the leap to start my first business back in 2016. It didn’t go quite like I’d planned, though. Honestly, I low-key fell on my face when I finally opened for business in 2020… but I wouldn’t have had it any other way.
That setback resulted in realizing how much I didn’t know about online business. I didn’t know what I was doing at all, but I never found out what I was missing until that first failure. I’m sure you can relate when I say I’ve been through a hell of a lot worse than that momentary setback… So you shouldn’t be surprised when I tell you that it didn’t stop my momentum at all.
I took courses and got a few certifications in e-commerce, digital marketing, and analytics, then went back to the drawing board. I started taking on a few clients to gain experience and learn how to do everything well… Then I ended up getting so many clients, I couldn’t handle them all myself.

What I Do
I ended up gathering a small team, so we could work together and handle more responsibilities. Then we rebuilt this site—so we could help as many fellow entrepreneurs as possible!
While we might not have the volume to take on more consulting clients, I now offer services in the form of business coaching. I help other visionaries turn their ideas into the business of their dreams—in the form of things like webinars, tools, and templates for growth (free and paid). There are three available tiers of online business coaching packages, plus constant free insight into the complicated world of online business, through my blog, social media, and The Intelli-drip Newsletter.
Why I Do It
I remember when I first started out, and how hard it was to learn everything you have to in order to have a successful business. I had about half of it right, and it went okay in the beginning… but then quickly fizzled out. I didn’t even realize what I was missing until I started seeing where all the holes were in my business model.
Running any business (whether you have experience or not) will always be a trial-and-error situation until you get some experience and start finding your footing—but I want to take out as much of the guesswork as possible for anyone who’s looking to further their entrepreneurial journey.
I wish everything I’ve learned could be found all in one place, but the reality is usually that it’s spread all over the internet… and if you don’t know what to look for, chances are you won’t find it until you’re learning how to fix a mistake you made.
So that’s what I’m trying to do here; I’m working to put everything in one place.
